I am itchin’ to get a few t-shirts and tank tops from this small company who makes these sassy designs. Perfect for this western gal.

Thanks to the Black Apple and Etsy, I found another lovely artist who reminds me of the drawings I used to create when I was a young bird before I got caught up in the corporate and freelance life. Julianna of Oh My Cavalier creates eerie and splendid little creatures that belong on any wall. They remind me of the bird headed women and drowned ladies I drew as a teenager.

I ran into this artist’s work through my husband and was mucho impressed with his style, color and use of lines. More and more unique artists are coming out of the Reno area. I hope to see more of them recognized.
We may be seeing some of these pieces on the walls of Peg’s Glorified Ham & Eggs downtown.

I recently fell head over heels for this graphic design firm in Northern California. They not only do wonderful, creative design, but have come up with the Official Tooth Fairy Kit, which I never knew I needed until it was too late.

Today I went a little ga-ga over the drawings and illustrations of Rima of the Hermitage. Her dark and offbeat style is strangely warm and cozy. Today is one of those days where I want to curl up in one of her drawings and go fetal.

I recently become acquainted with the lovely illustrations of Kelly Brownlee. She is also a fellow lover of beautiful things. I love her colors and style and her group of clients are impressive. She was so sweet to order one of my Messy Nests. Happy Holidays to Kelly and all other lovers of beautiful things!

I ran across this website for Living Brush, an artist who uses the human body as a canvas. His art is phenomenally beautiful and I wish we could all walk around naked and painted all the time.
Of course, I would fall straight away for this lovely business card design from Matt Briner on istockphoto.
For years Celestial Seasonings tea had the same staid design on their tea boxes, but I was pleased to see a new warm and beautiful design for their African rooibos and honeybush teas. I am usually a green tea drinker, but I have become hooked on the deep flavor and smell of rooibos and I love that it is caffeine free. It’s a nice feeling to know that I am drinking tea from the leaves of an exotic bush that grows in beautiful Africa. It helps to ease, but not cure, some raunchy traveling withdrawals.
You have to be a big movie buff to understand most of these T-shirts, but the Last Exit to Nowhere website has some excellent designs of your favorite flicks. Haven’t you always wanted a T-shirt from the Nostromo, Shawshank State Prison or the lovely Amity Island? I am a bit partial to the M41A Pulse Rifle tee myself.
